Hi there! I’m Christine and I have a fierce hunger to know and connect intimately with the heart of Jesus. In different seasons of my life this hunger has both driven me away from and drawn me back to my roots in the Christian faith. Now, this hunger is what continues to drive my pursuit of a deep, genuine and intimate connection with the heart of the One who knows and understands me best–Jesus Christ.

Unsatisfied and angry, at the age of 25, I left the Christian faith I was raised with in search of something that would satisfy my growing hunger for more. After eight long years and many long struggles with what I believed, I found myself curiously drawn back to the faith I had left and had once promised myself I would never return to.

It is now my joy and passion to share with others what I have learned while walking through dark days of doubt and beautiful days of redemption in my quest to finally find a faith that truly satisfies.

I currently live near the shores of Lake Erie in Northern Ohio with my husband, John, and our two children.

If you’ve ever been haunted by the question “Is this as good as it gets?” when it comes to your faith or your religious experience, or if faith was once an important part of your life but has since been replaced with skepticism, anger and disappointment, I encourage you to click on over to my blog and check out my story.

It’s real. It’s honest. It’s messy.

It might be just what you’re looking for.

I also wrote and recently published a book called Just Breathe: Discover Slow, Uncomplicated Time with Jesus

It’s a reflection of how the Holy Spirit gently guided me back to the open arms of the Father when I had come to realize the dead-end and empty promise of “deconstruction“. I was ready to rebuild my faith but had no idea where to start. All the resources available at my fingertips seemed the same; overwhelming and complicated. My book is the book I wish I had back then.
